WATCH & ACT MESSAGE!

WATCH AND ACT MESSAGE!

Today our state (South Australia) was brought to a standstill as a fire devoured thousands of hectares and threatened properties and lives. Many of us felt the heart-wrenching grief as people described the loss of their home or business, and as we considered the selfless actions of hundreds of fire fighters around our state. We had the radio on 891 AM on almost all day. We certainly must not underestimate the contribution of our fire fighters and other emergency services personnel to whom we are greatly indebted. This incident is still ongoing.

There is however another ongoing incident with a watch and act message I want to bring to your attention. The Planned Parenthood Federation of America released its 2013-2014 annual report Wednesday, detailing the services it provides and the sources of its funding.

Among the statistics revealed: Approximately 700 Planned Parenthood health centres in the U.S. performed a total of 327,653 abortions in the fiscal year. That is 37 babies an hour. This is only the statistics from Planned Parenthood, just one of the many abortion providers in the US. In Australia, the tragedy is no better with almost 100,000 babies snuffed out each year . That is approximately 11 babies an hour.

Unfortunately the force of firefighters working on this incident seems to be small. We do not notice the casualties because they are constantly hidden from public view. If a siren rang out for every baby, the deafening noise would surely drive us to action. If you missed my post from last time, just one child sacrifice brought an entire army to a standstill (2 Kings 3:26-27).

Calling for volunteer firefighters to combat this ongoing incident which has faded from the focus of the public. If every Christian regularly wrote to the media or their local politician or just constantly spoke about it amongst their circle of friends, its focus in the public eye would surely bring an end to this deadly disaster and destruction of human life.

Are You Part of the Reason?

“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

There is 1 reason why nearly 100,000 babies are murdered by their mothers each year in Australia. ONE REASON. It is because Christians have not been vocal enough about this heinous crime. In Israel’s day, the sacrifice of children to the false gods was a publically visible act (Ps 106:37). Satan knows that if that were to occur today, there’d be a public outcry and it would be outlawed. Instead he allows it to continue but behind closed doors, away from the public eye, in a sterile clinic. If every Christian in this nation spoke up for the approximately 100,000 innocent lives snuffed out each year, abortion would be outlawed very rapidly! Why do we not speak up? Why do we not write to the media and politicians, why don’t we flood them with so much correspondence and verbal complaint that they are totally overwhelmed? This issue cannot be let rest, it must be brought out into the open and in the forefront of our social consciousness until it is outlawed. I’ve dealt with part of the root cause in this video. I also recently showed from 2 Kings 3:26-27 how an entire army ceased fire because of just one child sacrifice!

When your children ask you why you did not stand up for the innocent in a coming day, what will you tell them? When they say, “dad, what did you do about it?” We all wonder why the world looked on when Hitler killed 6 million Jews and the church did nothing. Was that a practise run for the holocaust which followed? Millions upon millions of babies have been murdered. If a minute silence were to be observed for each baby in the US alone, there would be silence for more than 95 years for the more than 50 million innocent lives deliberately and systematically slaughtered. This is only the figures for the US.
Is God not concerned about the murder of the innocent? Does He want us to simply sit back and allow it?
Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. (Prov 31:8-9)

Look at what King David observed about how the children of Israel mingled with the pagan nations and learned their ways.
They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. (Psalm 106:34-39)

We seem to compartmentalize Scripture today. For example, we think that the idolatrous practises of child sacrifice is long gone. How wrong we are. Similarly, we think the worship of the Queen of Heaven is a Roman Catholic practise. If you seriously study this subject you will understand that this doctrine of devils is in wide-spread practise today even in the church in various forms, its name is Feminism. If you study what these goddesses and the doctrines surrounding their worship really was about, fundamentally the essence was women’s sexual freedom, wanting to control their own fertility, and independence from men who were willing to abdicate their role of leadership. (See Jer 7:18-19, 44:15-19.) It is like what I said before, Satan’s doctrines haven’t changed, he has just repackaged them to be undiscernible by the average Christian by removing the physical idols while finding other ways to propagate their doctrines (1 Tim. 4:1). We are just ignorant of his devices (2 Cor. 2:11.)
Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths. The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
...
For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them; In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. (Isa 59:7-8, 12-15)

For when ye offer your gifts, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. (Ezekiel 20:31)

If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, … (Exodus 21:22-23.)

This makes it clear that the fruit of the womb, while still in the womb, is precious, and the accidental causing of miss-carriage or premature birth was a punishable offense. If death followed (mother’s or baby’s as the KJV, 1599 GNV or Orthodox Jewish Bible make clear), it was to be life for life. How much more punishable is intentional murder? (Note modern translations subtly change this verse to imply that only the mother’s death was to be considered.)

Oh but that was just the house of Israel, right? So God hates Israel doing such abominations yet approves of the church, the pillar and ground of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15), to practise or condone such vileness?
What about this passing of children through the fire? We don’t do that today do we? Abortion is still the sacrifice of children. The altar is to the god of materialism, career and convenience.
Some Christians argue that we shouldn’t be involved with public policy, just preaching the gospel. What exactly is the gospel? Beside the good news of the Lord’s salvation, He specifically instructed us to teach the nations all that He taught (Mat. 28:20), that is not just the red letters in your Bible but the holy standard of God and all of the practicality of its application to everyday life. If we are not to impose morality upon the nations, why is our law based upon the Ten Commandments? Was this an errant decision of our forefathers? I think not. I think they understood better than we that God wants His moral law upheld by His ministers of righteousness (Rom 13:4-7, 2:14-16). This was what transformed barbarians to civilized men.

  • Will you not take time to speak up for the innocent?
  • Will you not take time to write to a politician or the media?
  • Will you not be counter cultural by allowing God to determine your family size if you are still in that season of life?
  • Will you not pray for those making policy decisions?
  • Will you not continually raise this issue in conversation amongst your social network?

And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. (Mark 10:13-14.)

Help spread this word by reposting it on your Facebook page. The more Christians become proactive, the more we will impact our culture. William Wilberforce did not succeed in his efforts to abolish the slavery of his day solely by talking to leaders, he also ensured that the issue was constantly in the general social consciousness by continually discussing slavery to people all over the country. Yes, God said that it is not by might, nor by power, but by His spirit (Zech 4:6). This does not mean that He doesn’t use our efforts, only that He takes our meagre efforts and multiplies it according to His purpose.
